The Islamic Society of Vaughan (ISV) is a non-profit organization established in 2017 with a simple yet ambitious vision: to create a welcoming and supportive space for Vaughan's Muslim community.

We believe in fostering integration and prosperity alongside our diverse neighbors, while simultaneously holding onto our cherished Islamic beliefs and cultural values.

We currently operate from a leased space, offering daily prayers, Friday prayers (Jummah) for Sunni Muslims, and educational programs for children and adults.

These programs cover various aspects of Islam, including Quran recitation, Islamic principles (aqeedah), Islamic law (fiqh), and supplications.

Our ultimate dream is to build a permanent mosque and community center in Vaughan.

This center will serve not only as a place of worship and learning but also as a hub for social events and fostering a strong sense of community among Vaughan's Muslims.

Why choose ISV?

A welcoming space:

We strive to create a warm and inviting environment for everyone, regardless of background or experience.

Commitment to education:

We believe in offering accessible and engaging educational programs for all ages.

Community
focus:

We are dedicated to fostering a strong sense of belonging and connection among Vaughan's Muslims.

Transparency and accountability:

We are committed to operating with transparency and accountability, adhering to the guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah.
